What surprises every visitor who climbs up to it is the unforgettable view of the valley, which Stara Pavlica is constantly monitoring. Here you can see today:- The old single-nave basilica - is supposed to date from the pre-Germanic period, because it is very reminiscent of churches in Greece;- Fragments of frescoes - which also imitate the Greek style of fresco painting.- Fragments of frescoes - which also imitate the Greek style of fresco painting.4According to the architectural-spatial and constructive conception, Stara Pavlica is the only temple in Serbia. There are no preserved objects that could be a model for her and on the basis of which the time of creation would be determined. Today, only a part of the original, quite complex building has been preserved. The church was once completely decorated with frescoes, only fragments of two layers of frescoes have been preserved. Parts of the evangelists are visible, standing figures of saints, the remains of the Crucifixion on the north wall, then parts of the unmanufactured image of Christ. Paintings on a blue background, with red borders, younger frescoes date from the middle of the 13th century. The small number of remaining frescoes in the dome and on the arches has faded a lot, but some, better preserved fragments, confirm that the frescoes were of high quality and very similar to the frescoes of the nearby Đurđevi stupovi monastery. The current appearance of the church Stara Pavlica is a conserved state of the building.

You will easily see Stara Pavlica, as above the Ibar on a rocky plateau, guards over the district.
